Updated OP with the first round matches.
Here's how the first round will go.
Five teams against five teams. Winners advance to the second round, losers go into the loser round, happening after Round 1.

The winners of the loser round get to go into round two, the losers are eliminated from the tournament.
However, since it will be an odd number, the loser with the lowest amount of goals from the first round will be eliminated and not put into the loser round.
This will leave us with 8 teams for Round 2.
