So, this game is still in development but I've been tracking the devblog and have to say that the game looks pretty good. They are taking concepts from a lot of different games (however they don't want to completely rip concepts from other games you've played), movies, and shows based around contagions and undead (and even normal action films):

But, I just thought I'd share it and see if anyone else has heard about this game as well. I know a lot of people have played the first one.

The devs are pushing for an early access release in summer 2018. They aim to have the game priced at 20$. The engine for the game will be on the Unreal Engine 4. The game will supposedly be pretty optimized for potatoes but not super potatoes. Anything under 2Ghz multi-core CPU, 4GB of RAM, 1GB GPU (DX11 ideal but not required) will probably not fare well with high FPS. They're adding quite a lot to the game than the first one, which is nice. The maps will be bigger, there will be human hostile enemies along with different zombie variants (the famous black child zombie still included ayy lmao).

I've been fucking hyped for this. NMRIH 1 is great.

I was in contact with the guy who runs this company/game a few years ago, I still have him on facebook I think. He's a great guy.

that game engine is badly optimized
sure everything looks great but when you have frame rate issues along with graphic glitches then maybe you need to think of something else

I genuinely love NMRiH and have made my total nebulous overhaul texture mod (Ew) for it

But for someone who uses a super mega ultra potato, I am rather depressed to know I 100% wont be able to run this game above 5 fps..

Well back to nms_favela I go

I'll believe it when I see it; I can't even count the number of zombie games that have been 'postponed' indefinitely in mid-developement. Even the Zombie Panic team was guilty of this with their newest game, Contagion. It was released a few years ago, but still plays like a beta.

Loved the first game, I'm glad to know there's going to be a second one. I'm guessing they'll be allowing custom maps like the first again?
