I may not be the most qualified for this thread, as I only recently started playing towards the end of Boreas, after quitting in the middle of RP_APOC, but I'll throw in my own opinion here.
I originally resigned from the civil-protection faction near the start of RP_Apoc, after I'd gone rogue, blew up the combines generator and deserviced a Rank Leader that'd pissed off my character. The reason for my resignation shortly after those events, is because I'd felt unwelcomed by the higher-ups at the time (many of whom are still Rank Leaders to this day). It felt like an elitest club, and if you weren't best friends constantly grappling onto the RL's legs and trash-talking rebels in VC, you'd be left without much to do. I saw the S2K mindset start taking place, and throughout RP_Apoc I constantly voiced my displeasure to
@rob in discord DM's. Now, given, at the time he didn't seem to believe much of it to be an issue, (not that I blame him, I was whining alot) but I see that opinion has changed recently given all of the issues I complained about then are arising now. This time with a public thread, rather than my own silent displeasure.
I thought maybe the faction had changed when I came back, until this happened during somewhat low server-population.
Yes, that is a squad, entirely consistent of RL's, /doorkicking doors that specifically have text preventing that. As well as VC spamming the entire time they do it, and to taunt after they kill me.
After witnessing this, and given opinions posted elsewhere on the thread, I've reached pretty much the same conclusion everyone else has. There needs to be a shake-up of leadership geared with a more roleplay induced mindset, like I'm told
@Ron was. That's just fact.
